Musical Theatre Training
STUDIO DIVISION MUSICAL THEATRE CLASSES
- OPEN BROADWAY KIDS (5-7 yo) is one hour musical theatre song and dance class that includes stage movement and scene production. You can sign up for one or both sections. Students are encouraged to take a foundation dance class as well (tap, jazz, ballet or discover dance). (Susie Kless Tue-4:15-5:15 & 5:15-6:15)

"Papa Won't You Dance With Me" from High Button Shoes
"Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast - OPEN BROADWAY STARS (8-12 YO) is a one and one-half hour class that includes a separate voice component with one of our voice instructors followed by choreography and scence production. Students are encouraged to take at least one technique dance class and private voice class. (Susie Kless & David Oberst Thu 5:00)

"I Want to go to Hollywood" from Grand Hotel - OPEN BROADWAY TEENS (13 to 18) is a two hour comprehensive musical theatre class for beginning and intermediate teens. The first half hour to 45 minutes includes a voice lesson with the remaining time devoted to stage movement, character development and choreography. A dance foundation class (ballet, jazz, tap or discover dance is suggested but not required) Private voice lessona are also encouraged. (susie Kless and David Oberst Thu 6:30)

CONSERVATORY DIVISION CLASSES
- MUSICAL THEATRE REPETORY 1 (7-9 yo) is the first level of conservatory division classes. Students have a 30 minute voice class, a 45 minute acting class and a 45 minute repertory class. All students are required to take a dance fundatmentals class as well as all three elements of the MTR 1 course. (Batalias & Staff-Tuesday 4:45-7:00 with a 15 minute break)
- MUSICAL THEATRE REPERTORY 2 (10-12 yo) is the second level of conservatory musical theatre training. Here students spend more time working on their voice and acting technique, stage craft, character and scene development in the repertory of American Musical theatre. As in all MTR classes, students are required to take at least one additional dance foundation class (tap, ballet, jazz, discover dance). (Batalias and staff Tue 5:15-8:00 with a 15 minute break.
- MUSICAL THEATRE REPERTORY 3 (13-18) is the final level of conservatroy theatre training. Students spend 3 hours in classes on Tuesday that include, voice, acting and more advanced and mature repertory. Students are required to be taking at least one foundation dance class. (Batalias and staff, Tue 4:45-8:00)
