AUDITIONS FOR NUTCRACKER & BROADWAY SPECTACULAR

Save these dates: Saturday September 11 and Sunday September 12 at Barriskill Dance Theatre School for singers and dancers for the company's annual Nutcracker and Broadway Holiday Spectacular to be presented December of 2010. We'll need singers, ballet dancers ad jazz/broadway dancers too.

Yes, you can now register for your classes directly online! You can get to the registration section from many pages including the home page and the different schedule pages
      You can, of course register at the studio, which is the method we suggest for new students so that they can take a tour and discuss class choices, fees and policies.
       The registration form is available to print online in the "Download Center" and you may either mail that in or bring it to the studio.
In any case.....we are receiving a vigorous pre-registration, so it might be wise to get your class choices in early. Remember, that Saturday Pre-Ballet classes usually fill quickly.

NDA election results

Elliot & Michael were both elected to the NDA. Michael is now the Vice-President elect of dance edcuation and Elliot, VP-elect of dance science. While they were attending the National Dance Association convention in Indianapolis they were approached by Dr. Gayle Kassing who is acquistions editor for the publishing company, Human Kinetics. They have been asked to submit a book proposal for "Dance Education in the 21st Century-Toward a Relevant Dance Curriculum".
