2012 Student Concert

What you need to know:

* The Spring Concert is available to all Barriskill youth students.
* Participation in the Spring Concert is optional.
* The Concert is held at Reynold's Auditorium in The Bryan Center at Duke
* The tentative dates are June 2 and 3, 2012
* The cost to parents is for costuming and your seats at the show.
* Costume fees are about $40-$70 for each costume.
       $40-$50 for preschool level classes
       $50-$70 for classes with children 8 yo and up
* Costume deposit  ($25) final due date: Dec 1, 2011
* Costume balance due date: upon arrival
* Costume fees can be included in your tuition "autopay"
* Seats at Reynold's Auditorium are $10-$12.
* You will be notified about final payment date for costumes.
* The final payment date for costumes usually occurs before the 1st of the new year.
* Students who enroll late in BDTS can usually be accommodated in the concert.
* The tentative content for this years Spring Concert is:
         Ballet and Pre-ballets -"Sleeping Beauty Act 3"
         Musical Theatre, Broadway, Jazz, Tap, Hip-hop: "A Beatles Tribute” 
* Class time will not be used for choreography or rehearsing until March 2012
* The week prior to performance...classes are suspended for group rehearsals.
* Attendance to class after rehearsal begins is very important especially the final week.
* Very poor attendance to class may result in dismissal from the recital.   
* You will be fully informed of necessary details about the concert later in the school year
